#microreviews

SARN sends a monthly newsletter to its members with event tips, publication recommendations and job offers. The work group NewsLibrary collects information for the newsletter, organizes and archives it and serves as its editorial staff. The newsletter is designed and sent by the SARN coordinator. The Newsletter archive is made available to the public online here. The current edition of the newsletter is reserved for SARN members. The group defines editorial processes and determines the content of the newsletter. These contents are provided for discussion in public and/or internal association events. The form of the events is defined by the work group

Since 2020, the work group publishes a monthly series of #microreviews, in which guests from the artistic research landscape review a publication of their choosing in approx. 1000 characters.

In dealing with different forms of presenting and publishing artistic research, the group analyzes and discusses their respective qualities in democratic processes. In the long run, concrete examples for a handbook on peer-reviewing artistic research should be generated. In a further step, research for the newsletter may lead to the constitution of an analogue library and/or digital databank on artistic research.

The group is open for up to 10 members. The members of the work group continuously collect and organize information and make recommendations for the newsletter. In regular meetings (approx. every 2 months), editorial processes and decisions are discussed.
